PESIK International (PI) Thailand a member of AAHSA, is currently developing a CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) project called “PESIC” (Pesik Senior International Community) in Thailand. The project concept is:
PESIC is designed along American CCRC standards with an Oriental touch. The project will provide complete facilities for housing, health care and professional services for all senior levels of living. For the first phase, one hundred hectares (250 acres) of beautiful-natural hilly land with a fresh crystal clear water lake has been designated.
Although, we are quite experienced in real estate development projects, we are a new comer in the continuing care retirement community industry. We are currently looking for experienced professional company (-ies) to form a joint venture partnership in the development of this unique, one of its kind project.
During 4-7 November 2001, we will be at the AAHSA’s 40th Annual Meeting and Exposition in San Diego, CA. We will use this opportunity to meet with interested parties. Please note that so far there is no CCRC project yet in Thailand, PESIC will be the first. This Project is promoted under the Board of Investment (BOI) of Thailand sponsorship. Investors will have advantages with numerous benefits such as tax exemptions and other privileges (for example: residence permit), etc. Under the BOI’s revised regulations, there is no restrictions for foreigners to invest up to 100% of the total project Investment.

Location:
Doi Maesalong, Chiangrai Province, Thailand. The project Site is 30 kilometers from the CHIANGRAI International Airport and 35 kilometers from downtown Chiangrai. The distance from Bangkok to the destination along the national highways is 780 kilometers. It will take less than 1 hour to fly to Chiangrai while traveling by car with comfortable driving will take about 10-12 hours. Another alternative is to take the train to Chiangmai and continue to Chiangrai by luxury coach.
